Citadel Source is delighted to partner a long-standing client to support the recruitment of their new Finance Business Partner.

The client

Our client is a growing organisation, taking on increasingly complex, high‑value work. To support their expansion, they are developing a central finance capability that will enhance oversight, bring greater consistency and deliver clearer, more meaningful financial insight as the business evolves. It’s a collaborative, fast‑paced environment, well suited to someone who enjoys influencing how financial decisions are shaped and improving the way a business understands its performance.

The role

This role will sit within a newly established group‑level finance function focused on improving financial governance, reporting quality and forward‑looking analysis. You’ll begin by embedding yourself within the UK finance team to understand systems, processes and what “good” looks like, before broadening your remit to support activity across the rest of the business. The position requires someone who can build strong relationships, challenge assumptions and help teams think more clearly about financial impact. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, providing insight that supports planning, performance management and decision‑making.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
