Description

At Weetabix, we believe that diverse teams drive better ideas, stronger decisions, and a more inclusive workplace for everyone. We’re committed to building an organisation where people from all walks of life feel they belong.

Closing date: 9th October

Interview process: Teams followed by face to face

Working pattern: You’ll spend three days a week in the office, creating great opportunities to collaborate, strengthen team connections and build high-impact working relationships face to face.

The Role

The Commercial Finance Business Partner supports all Marketing cost centres and the Innovation agenda by providing robust financial control, clear performance insight and strategic challenge. You’ll own key accounting processes, including month-end close, forecasting inputs and performance reporting, ensuring marketing plans and innovation business cases are commercially sound and optimised for value.

You’ll analyse portfolio and campaign performance, highlight risks and opportunities, and strengthen governance around marketing spend and innovation investment. As Weetabix continues to evolve, you’ll play a key role in developing more predictive, data-driven and agile, insight-led planning.

The Recipe

  • Lead the financial planning, reporting and governance of Marketing spend, ensuring budgets are well managed, accurately reported and aligned to business objectives.
  • Deliver clear insight into Marketing, Innovation and Brand performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities to support informed decision-making.
  • Produce accurate month-end reporting, including journals, accruals and prepayments, while helping maintain strong financial control across the Commercial Finance function.
  • Support new product development initiatives by preparing financial analysis, profit and loss forecasts, scenario modelling and post-launch performance reviews.
  • Manage innovation and brand performance reporting, including launch tracking, royalty calculations and stakeholder reporting requirements.
  • Build strong partnerships across Marketing, Brand, Innovation, Category and Supply Chain teams, providing financial challenge, insight and recommendations that help drive value and growth.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of financial reporting, performance measurement and business planning processes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
