Mitchell Adam Finance Business Partner Opportunity

Mitchell Adam are delighted to be working with a well-established, growing UK business who are looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner to their finance team. This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded accountant to join a large, operationally focused organisation where finance plays an important role in driving performance, supporting business decisions and identifying opportunities for improvement.

You’ll work closely with operational stakeholders and budget holders, helping them understand financial performance and translate data into meaningful commercial insight. With exposure to budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting and financial analysis, you’ll play an active role in identifying trends, challenging variances and supporting decisions around costs, productivity and business performance. This is a role where you can build strong relationships across the business and see the impact of your work beyond the finance department.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
