About the Role

Our client is a fast-growing, private equity-backed organisation focused on delivering operational excellence and long-term value creation. As they continue to scale, they are seeking a high-calibre Finance Business Partner to act as a critical link between Finance and the wider business. This role plays a central part in driving informed decision-making, strengthening financial integrity, and supporting strategic performance across the organisation.

The Opportunity

As Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with senior leaders to shape financial strategy, enhance performance, and ensure robust financial governance. You will bring commercial insight, analytical rigour, and a proactive mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnering & Strategy

  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop financial and operational strategies aligned to organisational goals.
  • Provide insightful analysis to support decision-making, performance improvement, and cost efficiency.
  • Challenge and influence business decisions using data-driven insights.
  • Strengthen financial understanding and accountability across non-finance teams.

Reporting & Performance Management

  • Produce and present monthly management reports and performance dashboards.
  • Monitor KPIs, highlighting trends and recommending actions for improvement.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial information across reporting systems.

Cost Control & Efficiency

  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, margin enhancement, and process optimisation.
  • Support business initiatives with financial evaluations, risk assessments, and ROI analysis.

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to financial policies, controls, and statutory requirements.
  • Support internal and external audit processes.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling proficiency.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) desirable.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
  • Experience in commercial finance or FP&A.
  • Proven track record of partnering with business units or senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in Manufacturing or a product-based environment advantageous.
