Finance Business Partner

London | Hybrid | Permanent
Salary: c.£55,000 + benefits

Ivy Rock Partners is working exclusively with a leading UK charity to appoint a Finance Business Partner into its finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional with strong business partnering skills to join a purpose-led organisation and work closely with a high-profile income-generating function.

The Role

As Finance Business Partner, you will take ownership of the financial management of a key business area, providing insightful analysis and commercial support to senior stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the monthly management accounts process, including month-end reporting and gathering and analysing commentary from key stakeholders.
  • Leading regular forecasting activity and supporting the wider business planning process.
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Providing financial analysis and insight to support effective decision-making.
  • Developing trend analysis to improve forecasting and financial planning.
  • Designing, developing and maintaining detailed financial models to support strategic decision-making and improve the accuracy of financial forecasts.
  • Translating complex financial information into clear, actionable insights for non-financial colleagues.

About You

We are looking for a finance professional who can demonstrate:

  • Previous experience operating at Finance Business Partner level, ideally supporting a fundraising, marketing, communications or similarly income-generating function.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical capability, with the ability to interpret financial information and communicate it effectively to non-finance colleagues.
  • Experience undertaking detailed financial analysis and using insight to influence decision-making.
  • Part or fully qualified CCAB/CIMA qualification, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to operate confidently across a varied stakeholder group.
