About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner - Business Services to partner effectively with our business services departments ensuring high quality financial data and advice to enable delivery of our strategic plans. The post holder will ensure completion and timely submission of statutory returns including VAT and manages the monthly payroll delivery.
Accountabilities
Your accountabilities will include but not limited to:
- Prepare allocated sections of annual report and financial accounts including debtors, creditors, operating lease commitments and payroll
- Prepare quarterly VAT returns ensuring maximization of VAT recoveries
- Manages the monthly payroll delivery
- Prime contact for business services departments for all aspects of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting while monitoring in year spend

Key Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- UK GAAP, FRS102 and Housing SORP and relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements in social housing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- CCAB qualified accountant
- Strong digital skills including Microsoft Excel and specialist finance systems
- Accounts payable, financial planning, reporting and analysis experience
