Finance Business Partner
We’re looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join a growing, technology-enabled information services business supporting the global legal industry.
This is a highly visible role partnering across Product & Technology and Corporate functions, with responsibility for cost control, CAPEX planning and providing high-quality commercial insight to senior stakeholders.
The Role
You’ll act as a trusted finance partner to senior leaders and budget holders across Product & Technology, Finance, Operations, HR, Facilities and Strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading cost control, budgeting and forecasting across key business areas
- Producing monthly cost centre reporting, variance analysis and actionable insights
- Leading CAPEX budgeting, forecasting and project tracking
- Evaluating investment proposals, business cases and ROI
- Supporting month-end processes, including accruals and CAPEX capitalisation
- Building financial models to support scenario planning and investment decisions
- Identifying cost-saving and efficiency opportunities
- Supporting procurement and contract negotiations with financial analysis
- Providing financial input into Board and Budget reporting
- Driving improvements and automation across cost and CAPEX reporting
- Supporting the integration of acquisitions from a cost perspective

We’re looking for someone with 5+ years’ relevant finance experience and strong commercial and analytical capabilities. You’ll ideally bring:

- Strong business partnering experience with senior stakeholders
- Experience of cost control, governance and ROI analysis
- Strong CAPEX and project reporting experience
- Experience building and evaluating business cases
- Excellent budgeting and forecasting skills
- Strong Excel modelling and financial reporting capabilities
- Knowledge of SaaS/recurring revenue models
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
