About the Role
Want your analysis to actually change decisions?
Our client is a founder-led business with an international footprint and a leading position in its market. They're growing quickly, they back decisions with data, and they're investing in their people and products as they scale. They're now looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to sit at the centre of the commercial finance function.
You'll report to the Head of Finance and work closely with the CFO. Your stakeholders will be across sales, marketing, operations and supply chain, so you'll see the whole business, not just one corner of it.
What you'll be doing
- Acting as the go-to finance partner for commercial and operational leads, helping them understand their numbers and improve performance
- Owning KPI reporting covering sales, margin, stock, logistics and aftersales
- Digging into profitability and performance drivers to highlight where the risks and opportunities are
- Putting together weekly and monthly management packs that people actually read
- Playing a central part in budgets, forecasts and the monthly outlook cycle
- Developing the long-range strategic planning model
- Working alongside senior leaders on growth projects
- Spotting where reporting and processes can be simplified or improved, and making it happen

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
