Finance Business Partner – Interim
Location: Leicestershire (3 days on-site)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Business Partner to join a successful, well-established consumer business. This ongoing interim assignment is available to start immediately.
The role is commercial and operational, working closely with senior leaders across Retail, Property, and Supply Chain. You’ll use financial insight to challenge performance, influence decision-making, and identify opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.
You’ll take ownership of finance partnering across the store estate and supply chain, getting close to the operational drivers behind performance.

Key Areas:
- Partnering with senior operational stakeholders across Retail, Property, Logistics, and Supply Chain
- Providing insight into store profitability, sales, labour, commission, and operating costs
- Understanding performance across individual stores and regions, highlighting opportunities for improvement
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and longer-term planning
- Analysing warehouse, transport, and distribution costs and identifying efficiency opportunities
- Supporting inventory and working capital initiatives
- Developing insightful KPIs, dashboards, and performance reporting

About You:
- A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) who enjoys working closely with the operational side of a business.
- Strong commercial finance or Finance Business Partnering experience
- Exposure to retail, multi-site, or another operationally complex environment
- The confidence to challenge and influence senior non-finance stakeholders
- Strong analytical and financial modelling capability
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets
- Available to start immediately or at short notice
