Finance Business Partner - £60,000-65,000 + Bonus - London | Hybrid Working

Currently recruiting for a commercially focused Finance Business Partner to join a large, fast-paced, multi-site organisation.

This is a highly visible role partnering directly with two Operations Directors and their leadership teams, providing the financial insight, challenge and commercial support needed to drive sales, profitability and operational performance.

It would suit someone from commercial finance, FP&A or finance business partnering who enjoys working closely with operational stakeholders rather than sitting purely within the finance function.

The role:

You'll act as the key finance partner to senior operational leadership, helping them understand performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability.

  • Partnering with two Operations Directors across a significant operational portfolio
  • Providing commercial insight and challenge around sales, gross profit, labour and EBIT performance
  • Identifying and supporting profit improvement opportunities
  • Translating financial performance into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Leading annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting for sales, profit and labour
  • Producing weekly and monthly performance reporting and commentary
  • Analysing trends, risks and opportunities across the business
  • Developing forecasting models, reporting tools and planning processes
  • Supporting finance transformation, automation and process improvement initiatives
  • Managing and developing a Finance Analyst

The person:

You'll ideally have 3+ years' experience within Finance Business Partnering, Commercial Finance or FP&A, together with strong commercial and analytical skills.

You should be comfortable challenging and influencing senior operational stakeholders and able to turn complex financial information into clear commercial insight.

Experience within a multi-site retail, hospitality, leisure, travel or similarly operational environment would be particularly relevant.

You'll also ideally have:

  • Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling experience
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience working with operational KPIs and large datasets
  • Exposure to labour/productivity analysis and forecasting
  • Experience managing, coaching or mentoring others
  • A track record of improving reporting and finance processes
