Job Description
The Business Partner will play a pivotal role in supporting the company’s strategic growth and operational performance. This role is focused on enhancing decision-making by providing insightful financial analysis, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will be proactive, commercially astute, and an effective communicator with the ability to influence and challenge where necessary.
Requirements for Role
- Strategic Business Partnering: Collaborate with operational teams, senior leaders, and other departments to provide financial insight that shapes strategic and operational decision-making.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) across departments, identifying opportunities for improvement and supporting delivery of business goals.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the preparation of robust budgets and rolling forecasts, ensuring alignment with business strategy and market conditions.
- Financial Analysis: Deliver clear, actionable monthly performance reports and financial commentary. Assist stakeholders in interpreting data and trends.
- Production of Monthly Management Information (Regional Profit & Loss and variance analysis)
- Commercial Insight: Provide profitability and margin analysis, and support business cases for investment, growth initiatives, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Project Support: Partner with operational and project teams to evaluate new business opportunities, expansion projects, and process improvements.
- Cost Management: Support cost control initiatives by highlighting trends and variances, and working with stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
- Change & Process Improvement: Act as a change agent to improve processes and controls in finance and across operations, helping to build readiness for future growth.
- Cash Flow & Working Capital: Monitor and support working capital optimisation and cash flow forecasting, ensuring financial stability of the business unit.
- Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance: Ensure all responsibilities under the Health Safety and Environment Policy are met.
- Other Duties: Perform any other reasonable tasks as requested by management.
