Equifind Finance Business Partner Opportunity
Equifind are working with an exciting financial services business who are in the market for a qualified finance business partner to help the team out over the next year.
This company is an international financial services business that is growing all the time and is a high performer in his sector.
If you have a background in monthly reporting and business partnering, then this could be a great opportunity.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsibility for controlling the ledger of three international entities, including business partnering with key stakeholders, submitting regulatory returns and management accounts preparation
- Develop strong relationships with relevant stakeholders across the business
- Develop appropriate processes for the wider finance and operations teams to ensure both accurate MI and statutory reporting
- Production of timely & accurate management information, including detailed analysis and commentary which are clearly communicated to stakeholders
- Accurately track and report on investment performance versus plan
- Working with the wider business teams to prepare, review and challenge the forecast and budget plans
- Maintenance of accurate ledgers and ensuring journals are raised in line with policies
- Liaison with external auditors throughout the audit process, as well as external financial support services
- Proactive in suggesting improvements in current management information and working with multiple internal teams to deliver high quality solutions to meet the current business needs
- Responsibility for the preparation of statutory accounts for a small number of entities, in accordance with GAAP including supporting schedules for trial balance
- Contribute to strengthening of the Finance team and identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls and analysis
- Take a lead role in projects relating to requests by senior management

Experience & Qualifications
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a minimum of 2-4 years PQE
- Experience of working within financial services is highly beneficial
- Working knowledge of FRS 102 would be great
- Strong excel systems experience
- Be a self-starter and deliver reports in a timely and accurate manner
- Experience of managing outsourced teams
- Strong communication & stakeholder experience

For this role, we are preferably looking for candidates happy to go into the great London offices three days per week.
Daily Rate/Salary
This fantastic opportunity for a finance business partner will pay market rate.
We think this assignment will be for a minimum of 12 months and ideally to start over the next few weeks. Therefore, we will look at candidates on around two weeks’ notice period.
