The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially focused Finance Business Partner to join a fast-growing, international business.

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will partner closely with the senior operational stakeholders, providing commercial insight and financial leadership across a portfolio of large-scale projects. This is a highly visible role where you will influence strategic decision-making, drive profitability and ensure robust financial governance throughout the project lifecycle.

This position would suit a qualified accountant who enjoys working in a commercially focused environment, partnering with the business to improve bottom line performance and support continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with C-level stakeholders to provide financial insight, challenge assumptions and support strategic decision-making.
  • Take ownership of the financial performance of a portfolio of large-scale projects.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed project budgets, forecasts and cash flow projections.
  • Monitor project profitability, tracking revenue, costs and margins against budget and forecast.
  • Produce accurate monthly reporting, including insightful variance analysis and recommendations for improvement.
  • Support the financial evaluation of new contracts, bids and pricing opportunities through financial modelling and scenario analysis.
  • Provide financial oversight throughout the full project lifecycle, from planning and pricing through to project completion and review.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities, recommending actions to improve commercial performance.
  • Deliver post-project financial reviews to identify lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
