Our Client
Mackie Myers have partnered with a large, private equity-backed, consumer-facing multi-site business to appoint a Finance Business Partner into its UK Finance team.
The Role
The Finance Business Partner will join a high-performing Finance team and play a key role in supporting both operational performance and strategic transformation initiatives across a large multi-site business.
Partnering with operational and functional leaders, you'll drive commercial insight across key revenue and productivity metrics, support the delivery of major transformation programmes and help shape how the Finance function leverages technology and AI to improve decision-making.
This is a highly visible role with significant exposure to senior stakeholders, offering the opportunity to influence business performance, support strategic initiatives and contribute to the ongoing development of planning and forecasting capabilities across the organisation.
Main Duties
- Lead analysis of key performance drivers, including revenue, pricing, mix, volume and operational productivity measures, identifying opportunities to improve business performance and value creation.
- Partner with two operational networks, providing commercial insight, challenge and decision support to senior operational stakeholders.
- Act as the Finance Business Partner for a significant digital transformation programme, supporting business case development, benefits realisation and the successful delivery of strategic change initiatives.
- Work closely with operational and functional teams to evaluate investment opportunities and ensure initiatives deliver measurable commercial outcomes.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and scenario planning activities in partnership with the wider FP&A team.
- Lead the adoption of AI and automation tools within the Finance function, helping to enhance insight, improve efficiency and strengthen decision-making capabilities.
- Build strong relationships across operational, commercial and functional teams, becoming a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders.

The Successful Candidate
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Proven Finance Business Partnering experience within a multi-site environment.
- Strong commercial finance experience, including exposure to pricing, volume, mix and profitability analysis.
- Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Experience developing business cases and measuring financial benefits.
- Exposure to digital transformation or large-scale change programmes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Interest in AI, technology and process improvement within finance.
