Finance Business Partner - 6-Month FTC - £65,000 + Benefits - Leeds
We're recruiting a Finance Business Partner who can turn financial data into clear commercial insight that senior leaders can actually act on. This is an initial 6-month fixed-term contract, with potential to extend or become permanent.
This is a broad, hands-on role combining management reporting, financial control, and genuine business partnering. You'll take ownership of the quality and accuracy of regional financial information while helping senior stakeholders understand the trends, variances, and KPIs driving performance.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering month-end reporting across P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow
- Producing insightful management commentary on trends, variances, and performance
- Reviewing and reporting operational KPIs
- Managing balance sheet reconciliations and nominal ledger integrity
- Delivering monthly budget versus actual analysis
- Managing trade debtor and aged creditor control accounts
- Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns
- Partnering with operational Directors and wider finance teams
- Supporting the financial integration of newly acquired businesses
- Supporting internal and external audit requirements
- Contributing to regional and Group-wide finance projects

What We're Looking For:

- Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA accountant
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualified experience
- Strong month-end and management reporting experience
- Excellent balance sheet and financial control knowledge
- Ability to provide clear, commercially focused commentary to senior stakeholders
- Experience working with operational teams outside of finance
- Working knowledge of VAT returns and control accounts
- Comfortable operating within a fast-moving, multi-entity, or Group environment
