Sheridan Maine is partnering with a powerful brand to recruit a talented Finance Business Partner. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, customer-focused organisation where commercial finance is truly at the heart of strategic decision-making.
Working closely with senior leaders across the wider organisation, you'll provide insight, challenge and support that helps drive performance and shape the future direction of the business. This is far more than a reporting role. You'll be a trusted adviser, helping stakeholders understand what the numbers mean, what actions are needed and where opportunities exist to create value.
The Opportunity
As a key member of the commercial finance team, as Finance Business Partner you'll:
- Partner with Directors and senior stakeholders across multiple business areas.
- Turn complex financial and operational data into meaningful commercial insight.
- Identify risks, opportunities and performance trends, helping leaders make informed decisions.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and planning processes for your areas of responsibility.
- Develop business cases, financial models and investment appraisals to support strategic initiatives.
- Present financial performance and recommendations to senior management teams.
- Drive continuous improvement across reporting, forecasting and business partnering activities.
- Use data and analysis to challenge assumptions, influence outcomes and improve business performance.

About You
We're looking for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys building relationships and influencing decision-makers at all levels. You'll likely be:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- An experienced Finance Business Partner with a strong track record in a complex and fast-paced organisation.
- Highly credible and comfortable challenging and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Commercially curious and naturally proactive.
- Highly analytical, with the ability to simplify complex financial data into actionable recommendations and effectively communicate to non-finance stakeholders.
- Advanced in Excel.
- Experienced in budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
- Experience with Power BI, Power Query or Power Pivot would also be beneficial but is not essential.
