About the Company

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading organization based in Milton Keynes seeking a commercial Interim Finance Business Partner for a 12-month fixed-term contract.

About the Role

This is a high-visibility role designed for a commercially minded finance professional who excels at bridging the gap between financial reporting and operational decision-making. Working closely with executive leadership and non-finance heads of department, you will turn financial insights into clear, strategic action.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnering: Act as the direct financial lead for senior non-finance stakeholders, challenging commercial assumptions and driving profitability.
  • Planning & Forecasting: Own the budgeting, rolling forecast cycles, and variance analysis for key operational business divisions.
  • Performance Insights: Deliver clear management information (MI), track critical KPIs, and present business performance reviews to leadership teams.
  • Investment & ROI Evaluation: Support business case development, cost-optimization initiatives, and financial modeling for prospective operational projects.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
