Commercial Finance Business Partner | Warrington | £60,000 – £70,000

A large, fast-paced business operating in a product-led environment are keen to add an experienced Commercial Finance Business Partner to their head office function in Warrington.

Role Summary:

Reporting into the Head of Commercial Finance, you will have a hands-on, commercial role designed to closely work with internal teams (commercial, sales, and procurement) in order to drive profitability and enhance internal understanding of key drivers.

Main Duties Include:

  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide commercial analysis and financial insight that supports strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
  • Evaluate business opportunities, investments, and change projects, providing financial guidance from initial appraisal through to implementation and review.
  • Support senior leadership by analyzing business performance, identifying key trends, and helping to drive informed decision-making.
  • Develop meaningful management information and reporting that enhances commercial understanding and supports long-term business objectives.
  • Promote the use of data and reporting tools to improve visibility, encourage self-service analytics, and support a data-driven culture.
  • Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, working closely with operational teams.
  • Monitor external market developments and assess their potential impact on financial performance, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Produce insightful financial analysis and ad hoc reporting to support business planning and strategic decision-making.

  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified or Finalist
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Prior business partnering experience
  • Product/FMCG/Retail background preferred but not essential
  • Excellent Excel skills
