Summary
An exciting opportunity for a qualified/ part-qualified Finance Business Partner to provide strategic financial support, insight, and challenge to budget holders, enabling effective decision-making and strong financial performance across the organisation.
Ideal for a commercially minded accountant with proven business partnering experience who enjoys working collaboratively with non-finance stakeholders and translating financial data into meaningful insights.

The Royal Museums Greenwich is one of the world's leading maritime museums, bringing together four iconic historic sites: the National Maritime Museum, the Royal Observatory Greenwich, the Queen’s House, and Cutty Sark.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Finance Business Partner will play a key role in supporting operational and strategic decision-making across the organisation.
- Partner with budget holders to manage budgets and financial performance
- Lead on management reporting, budgeting and forecasting activities
- Deliver insightful financial analysis and commentary
- Support key projects, fundraising initiatives and business cases
- Provide financial challenge and guidance to non-finance stakeholders

Main Duties
Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you will ensure high-quality financial planning, reporting and governance.
- Produce timely and accurate management information and reporting
- Lead the monthly management accounts process
- Support annual budgeting and regular forecasting cycles
- Deliver ad hoc financial analysis to support decision-making
- Provide financial training and support to budget holders
- Support year-end activities and financial controls processes
The Successful Candidate
- Qualified accountant or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Proven Finance Business Partnering experience within a charity, heritage, cultural or similar environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance audiences.
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft 365 skills, with a proactive and adaptable approach.
