About The Role
We are looking for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team at Duxford. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys working closely with operational stakeholders, providing financial insight, challenging performance, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.
As a key member of the Finance team, you will help drive business performance through financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and the delivery of clear and actionable management information. You will work collaboratively with both finance and non-finance colleagues, helping to translate complex financial data into meaningful business insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with operational leaders to improve cost control, profitability, and operational efficiency.
- Provide financial insight and constructive challenge to support business performance against plans and objectives.
- Support monthly performance reviews and communicate financial results to key stakeholders.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, business cases, and strategic plans.
- Work closely with the Management Accounts team to ensure accurate financial reporting and performance analysis.
- Support the development and improvement of Power BI and business intelligence reporting.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support the implementation of new processes and ways of working.
- Provide coaching and support to colleagues to improve financial understanding across the business.
- Support ad hoc finance projects and business initiatives as required.

About You
We're looking for a commercially focused finance professional who combines strong analytical capability with the confidence to build credible relationships across the business. You'll be comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels, translating financial information into meaningful insights, and providing constructive challenge to support better decision-making. Success in this role requires someone who is naturally curious, solutions-oriented, and motivated by helping the business achieve its objectives through effective financial partnership.
To Be Successful In This Role, You'll Have
- Proven experience in a finance, management accounting, or finance business partnering role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and operational data.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large volumes of information.
- Experience using Power BI or similar reporting and business intelligence tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders constructively.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to deadlines.
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and driving positive change.
- High levels of accuracy, attention to detail, and commercial awareness.
- The confidence to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a wider finance team.
- A continuous improvement mindset with a willingness to adapt, learn, and support colleagues across the business.

Additional Information
- This role is based onsite at our Duxford, Cambridgeshire Head Office.
- Occasional travel to other SMT GB locations may be required to support business needs.
