Robert Half are delighted to be partnering with a leading UK business operating within the agricultural and supply chain sector to recruit a Finance Business Partner on a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover.
This is a highly visible role partnering with senior leadership, commercial teams and operational stakeholders across the business. The successful candidate will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, business performance analysis and strategic decision-making while driving greater use of data and insight across the organisation.
The position offers excellent breadth, combining commercial finance, FP&A, business partnering and performance reporting within a complex and dynamic operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide financial insight and decision support.
- Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting tools to improve business visibility and performance monitoring.
- Produce regular management information, analysis and reporting for operational and leadership teams.
- Support working capital management through inventory and purchasing analysis.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow planning.
- Prepare regular forecasts and reforecasts throughout the year.
- Manage supplier rebate tracking, reporting and reconciliation processes.
- Support supplier payment planning and cash flow forecasting activities.
- Partner with commercial teams to assess supplier terms and commercial arrangements.
- Support month-end, half-year and year-end financial close activities, including key provisions.
- Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and strategic insights for senior leadership.

Skills & Experience
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- Previous experience within a Finance Business Partner, Commercial Finance or FP&A role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into actionable business insight.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Advanced Excel capabilities and strong financial modelling skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools, ideally including Power BI and IFS.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to influence business decisions through data-led recommendations.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, operationally focused environment.

Salary & Benefits
- £60,000 Salary DOE + Benefits.
