Job Title
You'll play a key role in providing financial insights and analysis to support decision-making. You'll work closely with various teams to ensure the business operates efficiently and achieves its financial goals.
Client Details
We are working with a fast-growing, purpose-led consumer business that is expanding its UK footprint and investing significantly in its future growth.
The business operates a successful multi-site model and has ambitious plans to continue expanding its network across the UK. As part of this growth, they are looking to appoint a commercially focused Finance Business Partner who can work closely with senior leaders and operational teams to drive performance and support key business decisions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who wants to move beyond traditional reporting and become a genuine commercial partner to the business.
Description
- Weekly and monthly member sales and attrition reporting, identifying trends by site/region and cohort, providing insight to the operational teams.
- Develop and maintain commercial reporting and BI dashboards covering, sales, attrition, pool utilisation & site performance.
- Support pricing decisions and price increases through modelling of revenue impact, customer behaviour, churn sensitivity and site-level performance.
- Monitor new and existing site performance against budgets, including member numbers, revenue, EBITDA and return on capital employed (ROCE).
- Prepare commercial analysis and financial models to support business cases, new products, partnerships, secondary revenue opportunities and other strategic initiatives.
- Partnering with the Regional Managers and other internal stakeholders to understand performance drivers, challenge assumptions and identify opportunities to improve revenue, retention and profitability.
- Support the Head of Finance with annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasts.
- Support the Management Accountant with month-end, including balance sheet reconciliations (accruals, prepayments, dilapidation provisions, fixed assets), P&L review and variance analysis.
- Assist with the preparation of MI Packs & Board Reporting.
- Assist with year-end accounts, audit and tax.
- Assist with the continuous improvement and automation of financial reporting, controls, systems and processes.

Profile

- Finalist or newly-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent), with strong management accounting experience.
- Experience in management accounting, commercial finance, FP&A or a similar role, ideally within an SME or multi-site business.
- Experience in a fast-paced business environment.
- Experience supporting month-end reporting, including journals, accruals, prepayments, variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
