Are you an experienced FP&A professional who can turn complex financial data into clear commercial insight?

A leading organisation is seeking a Finance Business Partner to partner with senior leadership, drive financial performance and strengthen planning, forecasting and decision-making across the business.

While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required.

The Role

As The Finance Business Partner, You’ll

  • Partner with the Divisional Leadership Team and Functional Directors, providing insight, challenge and decision support.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning cycles.
  • Develop P&L, cost and cash flow forecasts alongside scenario and sensitivity modelling.
  • Analyse performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying key risks and opportunities.
  • Deliver clear, accurate management reporting and translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Support business cases, investment appraisals and ROI analysis.
  • Drive cost discipline and improve financial accountability across the business.
  • Develop dashboards, reporting automation and data visualisation.
  • Support ERP transformation, process optimisation and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain strong financial governance in line with IFRS and internal controls.

You

To Be Successful, You’ll Bring

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification.
  • 15+ years’ experience across FP&A, finance business partnering or financial control.
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling experience.
  • Experience operating within a complex, matrix organisation.
  • Advanced scenario modelling and financial analysis skills.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS and financial controls.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and financial reporting systems.
  • Data visualisation experience, ideally Power BI or similar.
  • Construction or infrastructure sector experience would be advantageous.
  • Confidence partnering with and constructively challenging senior leadership.
