Senior Finance Business Partner
🎯 Essential experience: FP&A/Business Partnering + Insurance/Reinsurance
📍 Location: City of London (Hybrid, 2 days in office)
💷 Salary: £90,000 – £110,000 + bonus, pension & benefits
Pear Talent is representing an established international insurer/reinsurer who have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Finance Business Partner. This is an opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys understanding what drives performance, explaining the story behind the numbers and helping senior stakeholders make better commercial decisions.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of FP&A and Business Partnering, you’ll lead financial analysis, annual planning and quarterly forecasting for EMEA. You’ll translate complex financial results into clear presentations and actionable insights, working closely with finance, valuation and commercial colleagues. Alongside financial analysis, you’ll investigate performance drivers, assess plans against business strategy and support management decisions.

What We’re Looking For
- A qualified accountant – ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent, typically with at least 5+ years’ post-qualification experience.
- Strong experience in FP&A, finance business partnering, budgeting and forecasting.
- Insurance or reinsurance experience is essential.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to influence and constructively challenge senior stakeholders.
- Intellectual curiosity and evidence of turning financial analysis into practical commercial recommendations.
- Exposure to multinational businesses and developing junior colleagues would be advantageous.
