About the Role
The Finance Business Partner plays a critical role in ensuring that the business's financial health aligns with its strategic objectives. Bridging the gap between finance, commercial & operational teams, using financial insights to drive business success and help guide leadership decisions. To support business growth and responsibilities will adapt with business requirements.
Responsibilities
- Strategic financial support – key advisor to Directors providing financial insights and analysis
- Financial reporting and forecasting – Preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts, collaborating with departments to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Monitor budget performance and offer insights into financial performance
- Financial Analysis – Conduct detailed analysis, including profitability and margin analysis.
- Identify key areas for improvement
- Provide financial evaluation and support for key business decisions

Qualifications
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified
- At least 5 years of experience in finance, business analysis, or financial management, with significant exposure to business partnering within manufacturing

Required Skills
- Proficient in financial analysis techniques.
- Ability to interpret financial data and link it to business strategies
- Understanding of business operations and how they impact financial performance.
- Proficiency in Excel
Preferred Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with a proactive inquisitive approach to problem-solving and decision-making offering practical solutions to business challenges
Pay range and compensation package
£55,000 - £65,000
