Finance Business Partner - 12 Month FTC

Liverpool City Centre | Hybrid
£40,000 - £45,000 + Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Business Partner to join a well-established and purpose-led organisation based in Liverpool City Centre.

This role offers the chance to work closely with senior stakeholders across a diverse portfolio of projects and operational areas, providing financial insight, challenge, and support to drive informed decision-making and business performance.

The Role

Reporting into a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will act as the key finance contact for a range of departments, supporting budget holders and senior leaders with financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with stakeholders to provide financial guidance and support
  • Producing and presenting management information and performance analysis
  • Managing budgeting and forecasting processes across assigned business areas
  • Monitoring financial performance and identifying risks and opportunities
  • Supporting business cases and strategic decision-making through insightful analysis
  • Leading regular financial review meetings with non-finance stakeholders
  • Ensuring strong financial controls and compliance are maintained
  • Supporting audit requirements and continuous process improvements

About You

We are looking for a proactive and relationship-driven finance professional who enjoys working closely with the wider business.

You will ideally have:

  • Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a Finance Business Partner, Management Accountant, or similar role
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis skills
  • Experience producing meaningful management information for stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong systems knowledge
  • A collaborative and commercially-minded approach
