Join us to make a positive impact on the environment and our communities, while being valued and supported in a truly inclusive workplace.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

As a Finance Business Partner supporting the Customer Planning & Scheduling division within Customer Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in driving commercial insight, operational effectiveness, and financial performance. Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will shape decision-making for senior stakeholders, ensure robust financial control, and actively contribute to both in-year delivery and AMP planning.

This role offers an excellent development pathway and is designed to position you as a future successor to the Senior Finance Business Partner.

What you’ll be doing

In this role, you will:

  • Provide financial support across multiple cost centres, including month-end close and cost control.
  • Build strong working relationships with cost centre managers to support delivery of in-year performance targets.
  • Lead the budgeting process for your designated areas.
  • Support the annual business planning cycle, working with stakeholders to gather inputs and deliver high-quality financial modelling.
  • Conduct detailed variance analysis, identifying risks, opportunities, and actionable insights from data.
  • Prepare accurate monthly forecasts that reflect planned outputs and financial impacts.
  • Deliver clear and concise monthly performance reporting to central finance and key stakeholders within Customer delivery.
  • Ensure accurate cost allocation during the annual regulatory reporting cycle, in line with regulatory accounting standards.
  • Create and deliver engaging, insight-led presentations with minimal support.
  • Influence commercially sound decision-making by balancing financial and non-financial considerations.
  • Understand and validate non-financial cost drivers to support data integrity across reporting.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and modelling where required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
