We’re working with a leading Halifax-based manufacturing business with a reputation for quality, innovation, and long-standing customer partnerships. As we continue to grow, we’re strengthening our finance capability and looking for a Finance Business Partner who can bring commercial insight, operational curiosity, and a genuine passion for driving performance.
The Role
You’ll partner closely with production, operations, supply chain, and senior leadership to translate financial data into meaningful action. This isn’t a back-office reporting role- it’s hands-on, fast-paced, and central to how we make decisions every day.

Key Responsibilities
- Business partnering with operational teams to improve cost efficiency, productivity, and margin
- Ownership of monthly management reporting, forecasting, and KPI analysis
- Supporting investment cases, capex planning, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Challenging assumptions and influencing decisions with clear, data-driven insight
- Driving financial understanding across non-finance stakeholders
What You’ll Bring
- A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or finalist with strong commercial acumen
- Experience in manufacturing, production, FMCG, or a similar operational environment
- Confidence communicating with stakeholders at all levels
- A proactive mindset- someone who spots opportunities, solves problems, and makes things better
