NORTH EAST & NORTH YORKSHIRE
I’m delighted to be partnered with a well-established Housing Association, who have offices across Yorkshire and the Northeast. They’re looking to hire a Finance Business Partner to join the central Finance team and report into the Finance Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead in the production of monthly management accounts and the annual budget.
- Translating operational activity into clear financial insights.
- Forecasts and appraisals to drive value for money and support effective decision-making.
- Budgeting / Forecasting / Analysis.
- Provide strategic financial leadership helping shape corporate strategy, business planning and organisational performance.
- Oversee financial planning and control, including budgets, management accounts, forecasts, statutory accounts and regulatory returns.
- Drive long-term financial sustainability through business planning, treasury management, stress testing, tax planning and covenant compliance.
- Deliver strong financial insight and reporting to support decision-making, transparency and effective business partnering.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE
- Experience in working in Housing.
- A qualified accountant or finalist with ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, ACA studies.
- Detail-oriented, proactive and highly organised.
- Broad expertise in financial management, control and planning, including budgets, statutory accounts, treasury and cash flow management.
- Strong ability to communicate complex financial information clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong relationships across teams.
