Are you a commercially minded Finance Business Partner looking to play a key role in delivering large-scale transformation and capital investment programmes?
We are partnering with a leading UK construction and infrastructure business undergoing significant operational and network transformation. This is a highly visible Finance Manager position, working directly with senior stakeholders to influence strategic investment decisions, challenge assumptions, and drive financial performance across major projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with project and operational leaders on major transformation initiatives.
- Develop, review and own complex business cases and investment appraisals.
- Provide financial insight, challenge and support to maximise project returns.
- Monitor capital and operational expenditure, ensuring effective financial control.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes across project portfolios.
- Deliver meaningful variance analysis, reporting and management information.
- Identify commercial risks and opportunities, providing proactive recommendations.
- Support project governance, investment approvals and post-implementation reviews.
- Build strong relationships across finance, operations and senior leadership teams.
About You
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- Strong finance business partnering and commercial finance experience.
- Proven background supporting large-scale capital projects, transformation programmes or operational investments.
- Demonstrable experience of budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and business case development.
- Confident influencing and challenging senior stakeholders.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage non-finance audiences.
