The Opportunity

A well-established organisation is looking for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join its finance team. This role will work closely with operational and senior stakeholders, providing financial analysis, performance insight, and decision support to help drive business performance and strategic objectives.

The successful candidate will play a key role in month-end reporting, budgeting and forecasting, financial modelling, and the evaluation of business initiatives and investment opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys partnering with non-finance stakeholders and influencing commercial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery and review of monthly financial results, analysing trends, variances, risks, and opportunities.
  • Produce financial reporting, performance analysis, and clear commercial commentary for senior stakeholders.
  • Interpret financial and operational data to identify key business drivers and support decision-making.
  • Contribute to annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and longer-term financial planning activities.
  • Analyse costs and operational performance to identify efficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support business cases, investment appraisals, and financial modelling activities.
  • Build strong relationships across finance and operational teams to provide meaningful financial insight.
  • Collaborate with finance colleagues to improve reporting, processes, and ways of working.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
