An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join a global, multi-site consumer business in a newly created role supporting its Group Data & Technology function.

Partnering directly with the Chief Technology Officer and Technology Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping investment decisions, improving financial governance and ensuring that significant technology spend delivers measurable business value.

The Role

  • Partnering with the CTO and Technology Leadership Team on strategic and financial decisions
  • Supporting investment prioritisation, capital allocation and technology portfolio management
  • Driving cost optimisation and investment effectiveness across the technology function
  • Improving forecasting, planning and financial visibility
  • Strengthening cost control processes and governance
  • Building robust business cases and ROI assessments for technology investments
  • Supporting technology operating model development and recharge methodologies
  • Identifying opportunities to improve systems, reporting and financial processes

About You

  • Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Demonstrable Finance Business Partnering experience
  • Experience supporting Technology, Digital, IT or Transformation functions
  • Strong understanding of technology cost structures, investment cycles and ROI drivers
  • Experience managing large overhead, functional or investment budgets
  • Experience operating within a complex, international or multi-entity environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills

This is a highly visible position at the centre of a major technology transformation agenda, with substantial planned investment across ERP, data, warehouse management, inventory, point-of-sale and enterprise performance management systems. Experience supporting large-scale technology transformation programmes, ERP implementations or enterprise systems investment would be especially advantageous.

Hybrid working is 3 days per week in Camden.
