Role Purpose
The Finance Business Partner (Retail) is responsible for providing high-quality financial reporting, analysis and business partnering support with specific ownership of the Digital and Amazon P&L’s and marketing cost areas. The role acts as the primary Finance contact for the Digital, Amazon and Marketing teams, supporting performance analysis, budget management and commercial decision making.
Skills & Experience Required
- CIMA, ACCA or equivalent qualified accountant.
- Strong management accounting and financial analysis experience, ideally within retail, e-commerce, or FMCG.
- Experience managing or supporting P&Ls.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Power BI experience is desirable but not essential but should be keen to develop this capability
- Proven business partnering experience with non-finance teams.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and results-focused.
- Able to challenge constructively and influence decision-making.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Collaborative team player, comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
