We're working with a leading UK property services organisation to recruit an experienced Finance Business Partner to support a high-performing Maintenance division.

This is a commercially focused role where you'll partner with operational and commercial leaders, providing financial insight, strategic challenge, and decision-making support across a portfolio of key contracts. If you're a qualified accountant who enjoys influencing stakeholders and driving business performance, this is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact within a growing national organisation.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll act as a trusted advisor to senior operational leaders, delivering meaningful financial analysis, improving commercial performance, and supporting strategic growth.

  • Acting as the dedicated Finance Business Partner to operational and commercial leadership teams.
  • Leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Developing business cases to support investment and growth initiatives.
  • Providing profitability analysis across contracts, customers, and operational performance.
  • Supporting end-to-end financial management across a portfolio of contracts.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal financial controls.
  • Managing balance sheet reconciliations, billing, cash collection, and financial reporting.
  • Working closely with procurement and operational teams to improve commercial outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate financial data to support reporting and business planning.

About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical accounting knowledge with commercial awareness and excellent stakeholder management skills.

You'll ideally have:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong management accounting and business partnering experience.
  • Proven experience leading budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Good knowledge of UK GAAP and revenue recognition principles.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to turn financial data into actionable insights.
  • Confidence working with senior operational stakeholders and influencing decision-making.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Desirable

  • Experience within property, construction, maintenance, facilities management, or contracting environments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
