Make a Difference Through Finance

We are a specialist provider of housing and support services across England, owning and managing around 4,500 homes in partnership with 79 local authorities. We provide general needs housing, supported accommodation, and homes for older people.

We are looking for a talented and proactive Finance Business Partner to join our Finance Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who wants to use their expertise to support meaningful social impact.

As a trusted advisor to operational leaders, you will help drive financial performance, provide insightful analysis, and support strategic decision-making across the organisation. Your work will directly contribute to our mission of delivering excellent housing and support services to those who need them most.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Act as a trusted finance partner to operational and departmental leaders.
  • Support budget holders in developing and managing budgets and forecasts.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to improve performance.
  • Lead the production of accurate monthly management accounts, annual budgets, monthly and quarterly forecasts, and financial performance reports in line with agreed timetables.
  • Monitor financial performance and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Support business planning, investment appraisal, and strategic decision-making.
  • Lead and coordinate annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Develop financial models and business cases for key projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Bring

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a Finance Business Partnering or Management Accounting role.
  • Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience preparing budgets, forecasts, management accounts, and financial analysis.
  • Ability to influence, challenge, and support non-financial stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong financial systems experience.

Working Arrangements

This is a hybrid role. You will work primarily from home but will need to occasionally attend the London Office (Denmark Hill).
