ZS Finance Business Partnership Team
Made up of ~35 team members in the US + EU, ZS' Finance Business Partnership (Commercial Finance) team provides strategic analysis, insight and commercial advice on client, practice, venture or region level strategy; partnering with ZS Business Leaders to drive sustainable and profitable growth. This individual will join the existing team and continue to build on progress within the space.
Finance Business Partner - Commercial Specialist
We seek an experienced finance professional to join our London office. Successful candidates will be an instrumental part of the Finance Business Partnership (FBP) team, providing strategic analysis and insight to client teams and EMEA Region, which will influence actions that steer firm direction.
What you'll do:
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, delivering proactive recommendations to improve financial performance and decision-making
- Partner with senior leadership to shape commercial strategy, providing insights on pricing, deal structuring, and portfolio optimization
- Lead pricing and deal economics, including rate card design, discount structures, and margin optimization across engagements
- Support and influence client negotiations and procurement discussions, ensuring alignment with commercial and financial objectives
- Drive forecasting and forward-looking financial planning, providing actionable insights on revenue, margins, and pipeline conversion
- Collaborate with Deal Desk and leadership to review, challenge, and approve complex deals
- Provide financial analysis to support senior leaders of our regions, business units and corporate functions
- Conduct proactive analysis on our business and identify opportunities for commercial improvement and provide practical advice to help leadership address them
- Provide reporting on our financial status and outlook
- Drive continuous improvement in commercial finance processes, tools, and analytics, including leveraging data and AI where relevant
- Support team development and capability building, contributing to the growth of commercial finance expertise within the organization and engage effectively with colleagues at all levels within ZS

What you’ll bring:
- ACCA / ACA / CIMA / MBA (Finance) with 5–5 years of post-degree career experience
- Experience in Commercial Finance, Business Partnering or FP&A
- Prior experience in management consulting required
- Proven ability to build and manage strong relationships with senior business stakeholders, while maintaining an objective and independent finance perspective
- Strong strategic and commercial acumen, with the ability to influence decision-making
- Ability to navigate and solve unstructured problems, applying critical thinking and sound judgment
- High level of intellectual curiosity and motivation to self-learn, with the ability to adapt to evolving finance processes and a changing business environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial insights clearly
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred
- Fluency in English
