An established UK organisation is looking to appoint an experienced Finance Business Partner to play a pivotal role in a high-profile finance transformation programme.
This is a 9-month contract created to support the development and enhancement of the organisation's Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function. Working closely with the Head of Finance and senior stakeholders across the business, you will help strengthen forecasting, budgeting, reporting and financial insight while embedding best-practice FP&A processes and controls.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially-minded finance professional who enjoys improving finance functions and partnering with the wider business.
The Opportunity
You'll be instrumental in helping shape a more sophisticated FP&A capability by delivering high-quality management information, improving forecasting processes and providing meaningful financial analysis that supports strategic decision-making.
Alongside the day-to-day business partnering responsibilities, you'll have the opportunity to influence reporting processes, introduce improvements and help establish a scalable FP&A framework for the future.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
