Robert Half are partnering with a nationally recognised consulting business who focus on the energy sectors across the UK. They partner with leading energy providers to ensure businesses are running efficiently and compliant with key energy standards.

To support their continued growth, they are now looking for a talented Finance Business Partner, to join their high-calibre finance department.

📊 Role

Reporting into the Head of Finance, the Finance Business Partner will work closely with several business units to create & provide key insights for operational and senior management teams. This role provides real-time support, challenge and analysis, acting as trusted advisors across the business.

Key duties include:

  • Partner with business units to provide financial insight, challenge, and guidance
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and in-year financial management
  • Provide clear analysis to support senior leadership and operational decision-making
  • Build financial models and scenarios for business cases and projects
  • Oversee project accounting, cost tracking, and financial governance
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities to improve business performance
  • Enhance management reporting and drive finance process improvements
  • Support finance systems and resolve finance-related queries across the organisation

📋 Profile

The ideal profile for this Finance Business Partner position, should have the following:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or finalist level equivalent)
  • Proven experience within a similar commercial capacity, owning forecasting/budgeting.
  • Strong communication skills with experience liaising with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong project accounting capability, including cost tracking.
  • Experience supporting process automations and digitalisation would be advantageous.
  • Experience within the energy, utilities or regulated sectors would be advantageous.

💵 Salary and Package

£60,000 - £70,000 + additional benefits including:

The salary range/rates of pay are dependent upon your experience, qualifications, and training.
