Finance Business Partner

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Primarily home-based with regular travel to group sites (Yorkshire ideal)

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: Up to £55,000

A growing manufacturing group is seeking a commercially focused Finance Business Partner to support operational and strategic decision-making across multiple sites.

Working closely with site leadership and Group Finance, you will provide insight into margin, profitability, cash generation, forecasting, and operational performance. This is a hands-on role offering excellent exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence business performance across the group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with site leaders and operational teams to improve commercial performance.
  • Analyse revenue, margins, profitability, operational efficiency, and cash generation.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, and management reporting.
  • Challenge assumptions and identify key risks and opportunities.
  • Support costing, pricing, and quotation activities across the business.
  • Monitor working capital performance and drive cash improvement initiatives.
  • Utilise ERP data to improve reporting accuracy and business insight.
  • Support capital expenditure appraisals and investment decisions.
  • Drive process improvements and leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance reporting and analysis.

To Be Suitable

  • ACCA or CIMA qualified or finalist
  • Previous experience in finance business partnering, commercial finance, FP&A, or management accounting.
  • Manufacturing experience is essential.
  • Strong understanding of costing, profitability analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and working capital management.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and large data sets.
  • Advanced Excel and strong analytical capability.
  • Commercially minded, proactive, and confident engaging with non-finance stakeholders.
