Inc. Consulting is delighted to be partnering with a leading international professional services organisation to recruit a Commercial Finance Business Partner (Pricing & Profitability). This newly created opportunity sits within a growing commercial finance function, supporting the business's continued focus on strategic pricing, profitability optimisation, and client-led growth. The role is available in Sheffield, Leeds, or Manchester and offers the chance to work closely with senior stakeholders across an international network.
As Commercial Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in shaping commercial decision-making across the organisation, partnering with senior leaders to develop innovative pricing solutions, provide profitability insights, and support strategic growth initiatives. This is a highly visible, business-facing role that combines financial analysis, stakeholder management, and commercial influence.
Role Responsibilities
- Support the development and delivery of the organisation's pricing and profitability strategy across multiple markets.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to design innovative, value-led pricing arrangements that balance client needs and commercial objectives.
- Analyse and review profitability performance, and recommend improvements to financial outcomes and matter management.
- Develop tactical pricing proposals and commercial solutions in response to client opportunities and competitive tenders.
- Deliver financial modelling, analysis, and client-ready reporting to support strategic decision-making.
- Drive the adoption and effective use of budgeting and financial planning tools across the business.
- Collaborate closely with Finance Business Partners, Business Development, Project Management, and wider business support teams.
- Provide commercial insight, profitability reporting, and market trends to support client and sector growth strategies.
- Deliver training and guidance to stakeholders, helping to build commercial awareness and financial capability across the organisation.

Person Specification
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or qualified by experience, with a strong commercial finance background.
- Proven experience within a Commercial Finance or Finance Business Partnering role, ideally gained within a professional services environment.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities with the ability to translate complex data into actionable commercial insight.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with exposure to Power BI, SAP, and AI-enabled tools considered advantageous.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence and challenge senior leaders constructively.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Strong commercial acumen combined with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
- Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable working across teams, functions, and geographies.
