Your new role

In your new role as Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with senior operational and commercial stakeholders, providing financial insight and challenge to support strategic decision-making and drive business performance. You will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities, alongside delivering analysis on revenue, profitability, utilisation and working capital. The role offers significant exposure to senior leadership, with opportunities to influence commercial decisions, support investment and pricing initiatives, improve reporting and forecasting processes, and identify opportunities to enhance financial performance across the business. This is a genuine business partnering position for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys building relationships and adding value beyond the numbers.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA with proven experience in a Finance Business Partnering, Commercial Finance or FP&A role. Previous experience within a professional services environment is essential, enabling you to quickly understand the commercial drivers, stakeholder landscape and performance metrics of the business. You will possess strong commercial acumen, advanced analytical skills and the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insight. The successful candidate will be confident influencing and challenging senior stakeholders, have excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a track record of driving business performance through effective financial planning, forecasting and decision support. Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modelling and scenario analysis are also required.
