Role: Finance Business Partner
Location: Hitchin
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £60-70k plus bonus
Are you a commercially minded finance professional who thrives on influencing decision-making and driving performance? Our client is looking for a talented Finance Business Partner to join their team and play a pivotal role in supporting strategic and operational success across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, providing financial insight, challenge and support to help deliver business objectives and improve performance.
About the Role
As a Finance Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to operational and senior management teams, translating financial information into meaningful insights and recommendations. Working collaboratively across the business, you will support budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting and strategic planning, helping leaders make informed decisions that drive sustainable growth and value.

Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with operational and departmental leaders.
- Provide financial analysis, insight and challenge to support decision-making.
- Lead and support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
- Produce accurate and timely management information and performance reports.
- Analyse financial and operational performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
- Support business cases, investment appraisals and strategic initiatives.
- Monitor key performance indicators and drive performance improvements.
- Ensure financial controls, governance and compliance requirements are met.
- Partner with stakeholders to improve processes, efficiency and value for money.
- Support month-end and year-end activities as required.

About You
We're looking for someone who combines strong technical finance expertise with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. You will ideally have:
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Proven experience in a Finance Business Partnering or commercially focused finance role.
- Strong financial modelling, analysis and forecasting skills.
- Experience of M+A an advantage.
- Experience supporting budget holders and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
- The ability to interpret complex data and turn it into actionable insights.
