Fin Search are recruiting a Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis for a well performing, innovative, business based in South Pontefract.

The business is easily commutable from Barnsley, Doncaster and Wakefield.

This is a newly created role due to continued strong performance of the business.

About the Role

As a Finance Business Partner, this role will be purely commercially focussed, responsible for partnering closely with project managers to assess project values, costs, margins and financial risks.

Duties

  • Provide insightful financial information
  • Financial forecast review and validation
  • Identifying financial risks
  • Monitoring performance vs forecast and investigating variances
  • Challenging stakeholders where required around forecasts
  • Contributing to continuous improvements or financial tools, templates and forecasts

  • Be ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified
  • Have worked in a relevant commercial role previously
  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Have strong Excel skills
