Finance Business Partner | Listed Consumer Brand

Location

London (Hybrid, 2 Days)

Salary

Up to £85,000 + Bonus

About the Role

Growth role being hired due to internal promotion. The current person has just been promoted into a Head of role, and they're looking to replace themselves - so you get to learn from someone who's done it (and made a real success of it!).

You'll be the lead finance partner for Operations, Marketing and Commercial across the UK - the biggest and most commercially important part of the group. Direct access to the GM, COO and Operations Director from day one.

They're a growing business who are large/listed but never lost their start-up feel, and so work is pacey and deadlines can be tight but growth potential is fantastic (if you look at their finance function, most people have been promoted internally into senior leadership roles - that could be the same pathway for you!).

Hybrid, two days in Central London.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Commercial finance / business partnering

Investment appraisals, business cases and real-time trading insight for some highly experienced and high-calibre senior stakeholders. Your input will guide where and how the brands expand.

FP&A ownership

Budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling from scratch. Monthly trading packs and board reporting. You'll present financial performance to senior leadership - this isn't a role where someone else takes your work upstairs.

Team and process development

Manage and develop an FP&A Analyst, and improve how the function works - reporting, automation, planning tools etc. They're growing and constantly asking "how can we be better today than yesterday" so they want this role and all roles to have a voice in shaping that.

What you'll need

  • Qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • Commercial finance across some of the following: business partnering, senior stakeholder influencing, building financial models from scratch, investment appraisal, profitability analysis, performance analysis, scenario planning (essentially can you show that you've enabled growth / change / development / improved performance by enabling other functions?)...
  • End-to-end FP&A: budgeting, forecasting, analysis and commentary etc.

About the business

They're a well-known, UK-listed consumer brand. You'd be supporting the largest part of the group, meaning it funds growth across the organisation, and you're partnering with the key functions that fuel that growth within those divisions (Operations / Marketing / Commercial).

The group are a tech-enabled ecommerce group, with a global reach and performing well across their markets. So this is a key hire, with great internal visibility and scope for progression.
