Job Description
The Finance Business Partner provides high-quality commercial finance support, strategic financial advice and decision support to members of the UKI Leadership Team. The role is responsible for driving business performance through insightful analysis, accurate financial reporting, robust forecasting, commercial challenge and partnership with key stakeholders.
Working closely with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Operations and Finance, the Finance Business Partner plays a critical role in helping the business achieve its strategic and financial objectives. The role combines strong commercial acumen with analytical capability to identify opportunities, mitigate risks and support informed decision-making.
The Finance Business Partner is expected to develop trusted relationships across the organisation, provide clear and actionable insights on business performance, and influence outcomes that drive sustainable growth, operational efficiency and value creation. The role will also be responsible for coaching and leadership of junior members of the UKI Commercial Finance team.

The role will contribute significantly to planning, budgeting and forecasting activities, as well as month-end close processes and performance analysis, while supporting investment decisions, business initiatives and continuous improvement across the UKI Commercial Finance function.
This is a hybrid role, based 3 days per week from the Newcastle office.
Key Responsibilities
Summary of Role
The Finance Business Partner provides commercial finance support and strategic financial advice to the UKI Leadership Team, helping drive business performance through insightful analysis, accurate reporting, forecasting and constructive commercial challenge. The role will support the UKI Sales and Commercial leaders, but with scope to evolve as the team develops.
What I Will Be Doing
- Partner closely with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Commercial and Finance to understand business performance, identify opportunities and risks, and support informed decision-making.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, month-end reporting, financial modelling and scenario planning, while providing clear insights into the drivers and trends behind the numbers.
- Build trusted relationships across Finance and the wider business, balancing effective challenge with positive and honest partnerships.
- The role also involves coaching and day-to-day management of two Analysts, helping develop their skills and prepare them for future Business Partner roles.
- Support investment decisions, strategic initiatives and continuous improvement across UKI Commercial Finance.

What We Are Looking For
- A well-rounded Finance Business Partner with strong financial fundamentals, commercial awareness and the ability to build effective relationships across a business.
- Comfortable working in the detail of reporting, forecasting and financial modelling, while understanding the wider commercial drivers and market context.
- Confident challenging senior stakeholders constructively, influencing decisions and maintaining trusted relationships.
- Experience coaching or developing junior colleagues is important, along with a proactive, analytical and commercially minded approach.
