Finance Business Partner

£65,000 - £75,000 + Benefits

The Company

A leading professional services group with a well-established presence across multiple international markets is looking to strengthen its finance function. The firm is recognised for its collaborative culture and its investment in developing finance professionals who can operate as genuine strategic partners to the business. This is an opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, gain exposure to high-profile decision making and build a career within a genuinely commercial, fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner senior leadership - Provide accurate, timely and insightful financial planning advice that supports informed, strategic business decisions.
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting - Own the annual planning, budgeting and quarterly reforecasting cycles across multiple practice areas.
  • Present to senior stakeholders - Deliver executive reporting and business review presentations that influence partners and leadership teams.
  • Drive financial analysis - Produce insightful management information and commentary that tracks performance against strategic and operational targets.
  • Support commercial strategy - Advise on business cases for lateral hires, expansion and pricing strategy.

Skills & Attributes

  • Professional qualification - ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
  • Stakeholder influencing - A proven track record of supporting, challenging and influencing senior partners and leadership teams.
  • Advanced analytical skills - Strong Excel and MS Office capability paired with a commercially minded approach to analysis.
  • Communication and composure - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
  • Partnership experience supporting fee-earners - Exposure to working with senior fee-earners in a professional services / partnership environment.
