Finance Business Partner
Are you a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys partnering with senior leaders and using financial insight to influence business performance?
We are looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join a growing international organisation and play a key role across its UK and Ireland operations. This is a high-profile role offering genuine commercial exposure, responsibility for financial planning and analysis, and an excellent opportunity to develop towards a future Head of Finance position.
The Role
You will work closely with senior leaders and local management teams, providing clear financial insight to support strategic and operational decision-making. Alongside business partnering, you will take ownership of core management accounting, reporting, forecasting and budgeting activities.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Partner with senior leadership and operational teams, providing commercial financial advice and insight
- Analyse financial performance, identifying trends, risks, opportunities and areas for improvement
- Lead management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting processes
- Oversee month-end activities and ensure accurate and timely financial close
- Manage balance sheet reviews and reconciliations
- Review P&L performance and investigate variances against budget and forecast
- Maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Work closely with internal and external auditors during audit processes
- Support the development and capability of the wider finance team
- Utilise ERP and finance systems to maintain accurate financial records, journals and reporting
- Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, controls and reporting

About You
We are looking for a qualified accountant who combines strong technical finance expertise with excellent commercial and relationship-building skills.
You will ideally have:
- ACCA or CIMA qualification
- Strong experience across management accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting
- Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner or commercially focused finance role
- Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet management and month-end processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to turn financial data into meaningful business insight
- Experience working with ERP and finance systems; Oracle or a similar system would be advantageous
- Good understanding of financial controls, governance and compliance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working within a larger or international organisation would be beneficial
