Senior Finance Business Partner
Birmingham / Hybrid - UK wide site travel £75,000-£90,000 + car allowance + bonus + pension
Seymour John is delighted to be partnering with a market-leading, national business to recruit a commercially focused Senior Finance Business Partner.
Operating across a multi-site service, logistics and operational network, this is a highly visible role supporting senior operational stakeholders and providing financial insight to drive business performance.
The position offers an excellent opportunity to join a business that actively invests in the development and progression of its people.
The Opportunity
This is far more than a traditional reporting role. As Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with operational and commercial leaders across the business, helping them understand performance, identify opportunities for improvement and support strategic decision making.

You will act as a trusted advisor, combining strong financial analysis with commercial insight to influence business outcomes and drive profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner operational and commercial stakeholders across multiple business units and locations.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and planning activities.
- Deliver insightful financial reporting and performance analysis.
- Provide challenge and support around operational and commercial decision making.
- Analyse revenue, margin, productivity and cost performance.
- Develop meaningful KPI reporting and management information.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability and business performance.
- Support business cases, investment appraisals and strategic initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement across financial processes and reporting.
About You
We are keen to speak with qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) who combine strong technical foundations with excellent business partnering capability.

You will ideally have experience within:
- Multi-site organisations
- Logistics and distribution
- Service-led businesses
- Facilities management
- Engineering or industrial services
- Manufacturing environments
Most importantly, you will be confident engaging with operational stakeholders, comfortable challenging assumptions and able to translate financial data into practical business insight.
