Job Description
Our client is a fast-paced, multi-site retail and hospitality environment with a strong focus on operational performance and continuous improvement.
This is a key finance partnering position supporting two Operations Directors, providing the financial insight and commercial challenge needed to drive delivery, sales growth, and operational efficiency across the estate. The role blends hands-on business partnering with core FP&A responsibilities — forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting — and includes line management of one Finance Analyst.

What you'll be doing
- Business partnering two Operations Directors, building strong relationships with operational leadership and influencing decisions on sales, GP, labour productivity and EBIT
- Owning cost centre budgets and quarterly forecasts for sales, profit and labour
- Producing weekly and monthly performance reporting with clear commentary on drivers vs budget, forecast and prior year
- Monitoring KPIs, flagging risks/opportunities early, and supporting action plans
- Managing and developing a Finance Analyst
- Contributing to reporting automation and process improvement initiatives

What we're looking for
- 3+ years in a Finance Business Partnering, Commercial Finance or FP&A role
- Strong commercial acumen — comfortable challenging and influencing operational stakeholders
- Solid forecasting, budgeting and performance analysis experience
- Advanced Excel (VBA, advanced formulas, pivot tables)
- Experience managing or coaching junior team members
- Part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent) desirable
- Multi-site retail, hospitality or travel background a strong plus
