Gleeson Recruitment Group are proud to be supporting a leading UK consumer goods business seeking a Commercial Finance Business Partner to join its high-performing finance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially focused finance professional who wants to play a key role in supporting business growth, influencing decision-making and partnering with senior commercial stakeholders. The successful candidate will operate at the heart of the organisation, providing financial insight, challenging assumptions and helping drive profitable performance.

The Role

Working closely with commercial and finance leaders, you will provide meaningful analysis and support strategic decision-making across a diverse customer portfolio.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a trusted finance partner to commercial teams
  • Supporting pricing, profitability and investment decisions
  • Monitoring customer and product performance against targets
  • Providing robust forecasting and budgeting support
  • Delivering insightful reporting and performance analysis
  • Identifying risks and opportunities to improve business results
  • Supporting commercial planning and investment evaluation
  • Contributing to month-end reporting and financial control activities
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the wider business
  • Driving continuous improvements in processes, reporting and decision support

About You

We're looking for an ambitious and commercially minded finance professional who is confident working in a fast-paced environment.

To be successful, you will ideally have:

  • A recognised Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • Strong commercial awareness and financial analysis skills
  • Previous experience in a finance business partnering, commercial finance or FP&A role
  • The ability to influence and challenge stakeholders constructively
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities
  • A proactive approach with strong attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
